Learn, Practice, and Play!
Michelle’s studio is located in Waynesboro, Virginia. See all current class offerings and contact form below. Flexible dates and times available. Priced per Artist
Want to dabble in paint and make memories? Check out the Exploration class! (Preferred Class Size: 3-6, + age 4)
Exploration (“Sip and Play”) $35
One hour studio time includes a memorable experience creating a fluid art painting. Artists will be given a simple set of instructions to create a one of a kind painting. Attending more than once is encouraged as each class will be a new exploration of style and technique! All supplies are included in the class fee.

For those wanting to expand their knowledge, I offer Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced classes. These sessions include more in-depth instruction to promote independence in the fluid art process. (+ age 8)
Beginner (Three two-hour Sessions) $130
Studio time includes instruction and insight into the fluid art process. Artists will learn foundations, design and composition, mixing paint and using additives. We will practice and perform several techniques used to create unique art pieces. Supplies are included.
Intermediate (Three two-hour Sessions) $175
Studio time includes instruction, insight and guidance on more advanced techniques and embellishments. We will explore using specialty paints, mediums and additives, using a variety of substrates. Supplies are included.
Advanced (One two-hour Session) $TBD
Studio time may be used to design and create a large canvas, triptych, or picture frame, bringing all knowledge, methods and tools together to create a standout piece.
—————————————————————
Finished paintings may be housed in the studio for pickup when dry (one to two weeks). It is preferable that a host pick up all pieces and distribute to guests. Shipping service is not offered. Alternatively, artists are invited to bring an appropriately sized container to the class for transporting their completed “wet” artwork (i.e. pizza box or box lid).
Access to the studio requires the ability to go up and down stairs. The space is not handicap accessible. We “get messy” in Grandma’s studio... artists should wear appropriate attire and aprons are available.
Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable. Classes may be rescheduled when one week notice of cancellation is provided.
I look forward to setting a date and time for play!
